Carol Summers

Carol Summers worked as an artist throughout the entire second half of the 20th century and beyond, outliving most of his mid-century modernist peers.

Carol Summers was a printmaker of woodcuts, recipient of grants from the Italian Government, Tiffany, Fullbright and Guggenheim Foundation Fellowships, the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars, and an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from his alma mater, Bard College. Represented widely in museum and private collections in the United States and abroad.
